Yukon Education is seeking teachers on call for the 2024/2025 school year in Whitehorse. Responsibilities include delivering lesson plans, managing classrooms, and collaborating with educators. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and experience working with children. This role requires effective communication skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.

Located on the Traditional Territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch'än Council, our public schools in Whitehorse are operated by three school authorities: Yukon Education, First Nation School Board, and the Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon.
We are seeking teachers on call for the 2024/2025 school year.
Our teachers on call replace regular classroom teachers or education assistants on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include delivering set lesson plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, managing students and expectations, and collaborating with educators to ensure student success. Additional duties may include supervising students during recess and lunch, as well as participating in arrival and dismissal routines.
