Job description

Description

At Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system by growing food where people live and growing it more sustainably. To do this, we built the world’s first commercial rooftop greenhouse and partner with hundreds of local farms and food makers to offer fresh, local, responsible food to our customers across Quebec. To continue changing the way cities eat, we’re looking for a Sales and Partnership Development Supervisor for the greater Quebec region.

In this role, you'll represent our vision and mission in Quebec City and nearby towns, using your skills to actively contribute to the company's growth. You’ll be involved in prospecting for new partners to host our sales kiosks. You’ll ensure the department's operations run smoothly by carrying out a number of operational and administrative tasks, including scheduling, assisting in recruitment, and onboarding sales representatives. You’ll supervise the reps’ performances and act as a coach and leader to ensure that all team members adopt best practices and meet their goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate department operations in the Greater Quebec City area (planning, sales kiosks, materials, deliveries, hiring, etc.);
  2. Generate reports on department performance;
  3. Supervise the regional sales representative team, set schedules, hold individual meetings, and track performance;
  4. Manage the onboarding of new hires and actively participate in recruitment and evaluation;
  5. Ensure effective cost management for the designated territory;
  6. Support the development of new event and corporate partnerships for sales events;
  7. Represent Lufa Farms at events, promote our services, and sign up new Lufavores for our weekly baskets;
  8. Assist the Direct Sales Manager with any related departmental tasks.

Requirements
  1. Efficient, motivated, and results-driven - performance will be evaluated based on team membership signups;
  2. Natural leadership to guide and motivate the team;
  3. Excellent communication skills to sell the service and coordinate the team effectively, both in writing and verbally;
  4. Ability to handle unexpected challenges and solve problems quickly;
  5. Strong organizational skills to manage event logistics using Google tools;
  6. Ability to lift and transport up to 30 kg of equipment and vegetable baskets;
  7. Valid driver's licence and access to a car.

Assets
  1. Experience in direct sales and event coordination;
  2. Experience in team management;
  3. A leadership-driven attitude focused on coaching and achieving goals.

Schedule And Compensation
  1. Full-time, 40 hours;
  2. While most of the work follows a standard schedule, the supervisor is expected to be available as needed to coordinate events outside regular working hours and attend events when required or necessary;
  3. A competitive annual salary;
  4. An annual bonus based on quarterly membership targets.

Benefits
  1. You’ll be eligible to participate in the firm’s health insurance, dental, and disability programs after completion of a probationary period (paid 50% by the employee and 50% by Lufa Farms);
  2. Access to TELUS Health Virtual Care (direct contact to health professionals by phone, video, or chat) and the Employee and Family Assistance Program (professional, short-term counselling, covering a broad range of interpersonal issues);
  3. 30% discount on your Lufa Farms basket;
  4. Three weeks of vacation per year;
  5. Cell phone expense reimbursement up to $60 per month.
