Job Duties

1. Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
2. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
3. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
4. Performs related customer service functions.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of the area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and effective courier methods.

Job Conditions

Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license as per state requirements and have a good driving record. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Must be 21 or older and have held a valid driver’s license for the past three years.

Pay Transparency

This range is an estimate of the current starting salary across all locations. Actual pay depends on experience, market, location, and other factors. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, bonuses, or premiums. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Hourly Range $20.22 - $30.65

Schedule: Full Time, Tuesday - Saturday, 8 am - 5 pm
