CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS II Salt Spring National Art Prize 2025

SUBMISSIONS OPEN JANUARY 3, 2025

The Salt Spring National Art Prize (SSNAP) is a prestigious, juried Canadian art competition based on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. As a non-profit organization, the Salt Spring National Art Prize Society is committed to recognizing, showcasing, and advancing the talents of Canadian visual artists. This year, we are thrilled to offer a total of $52,000 in awards to honour outstanding works and to further support the artistic community across Canada.

ELIGIBILITY

1. To be eligible, an artwork:
2. must have been completed on or after January 1, 2024
3. must have been created by a Canadian citizen or permanent resident over the age of 18

Each entry will be screened by the organizers to ensure that the Conditions of Entry are met. Entries that do not meet the requirements stated in the Conditions of Entry will not be adjudicated.

2. WEEK OF JULY 14, 2025 - Jury decisions on finalists announced
3. SEPTEMBER 27 — OCTOBER 19, 2025 - Finalists’ Exhibition at Mahon Hall
