Position Summary...

To provide exceptional customer service and assist in salesfloor operations in order to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty.

What you'll do...

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and helping with purchase decisions.
3. Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management when appropriate.
4. Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing, and pricing merchandise.
5. Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment following company policies and procedures.
6. Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, handle paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
7. Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
8. Seasonal associates may handle duties specific to Garden Centre (March-July), Toys (Christmas), and Bikes (Summer). Tasks include zoning, watering, culling plants, limited cash handling, and physical activities related to bikes.
