Corporate Tax Analyst: Land & Housing

Ranked as one of the BEST 50 Companies to work for in Canada, our realty management client is looking for an outstanding corporate tax professional to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, the Tax Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the corporate tax function for the land & housing division.

Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation of all Canadian and US tax compliance, including the preparation of corporate income and capital tax returns and supporting working papers.
  2. Preparation of quarterly and year-end accounting provisions and related reconciliation of future income taxes and tax liability accounts.
  3. Management and payment of tax installments.
  4. Working with accounting staff in the preparation of the legal entity financial statements.
  5. Serving as a liaison to CCRA and other taxation authorities on assessments, audits and other administrative matters.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years experience in Canadian tax compliance and planning, complemented by a professional designation (CGA/CMA/CA) and completion of the In-depth Tax course. Realty industry and JD Edward - Enterprise One experience are preferred.
