Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Compile project charters and business/project plans to support activities, including selecting the most suitable approach for each project to ensure business objectives and data integrity are achieved.
  2. Manage projects that document business requirements, design, and deliver IT solutions aligned with the Ministries’ enterprise architecture.
  3. Assist in developing recommendations, including resource requirements, dependencies, policy implications, and methodologies.
  4. Produce and package deliverables for presentation to internal support teams, steering committees, and other stakeholders.
  5. Manage multiple projects, resources, and governance processes.
  6. Collaborate with project sponsors to ensure effective communication throughout the project, including risk escalation.
  7. Maintain client satisfaction by managing peer relationships and resolving hurdles for mutual benefit.
  8. Work with leadership to develop detailed project plans covering objectives, scope, timeline, resources, risks, benefits, and budget.
  9. Establish project organization structures with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
  10. Report on project status, milestones, budget, and risks; facilitate issue and risk management.
  11. Develop project schedules, estimate resources, monitor work plans, and implement corrective actions.
  12. Guide project resources in prioritizing work and ensuring timely delivery.
  13. Document related requirements as needed.
  14. Assess project outcomes with sponsors and identify opportunities for improvement.
  15. Provide leadership in change management and communication efforts.
  16. Adhere to project management standards and collaborate with the project management office to define new standards if necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading healthcare portfolios or similar complex initiatives.
  • Experience assisting clients in strategy execution involving technology, processes, organizational design, and IT operations.
  • Proven ability in developing project documents for diverse initiatives (strategic, business improvement, IT).
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including public users, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to understand requirements and align designs with product vision and user needs.
  • Leadership experience in defining project scope, goals, roadmaps, governance, and business cases in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading project governance, change management, and communication activities.
