On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Senior Salesforce Architect to join our Client's team on a contract basis. This role is Remote, and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC.

Summary of the Role

The Senior Salesforce Architect will serve as a strategic advisor, guiding the future vision of a complex Salesforce implementation with a focus on scalability and integration. This role will shape the CRM roadmap and ensure alignment with organizational goals across multiple faculties and business units.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Lead technical solution design across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Education Cloud, and 3rd-party/API integrations.
2. Define scalable, enterprise-wide Salesforce data models and develop a phased CRM architecture roadmap.
3. Mentor Salesforce developers, promoting best practices, sustainability, and data compliance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional and non-Salesforce architects to deliver cost-effective, integrated solutions.
5. Conduct architectural reviews, identify and mitigate technical risks early, and contribute to data governance planning aligned with institutional policies.

Core Requirements:

1. 10+ years of experience as a Senior Solution Architect.
2. Proven experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, Education Cloud, and 3rd-party/API integrations.
3. Demonstrated ability to design scalable CRM architectures and data models.
4. Track record of leading enterprise-wide integration and data migration initiatives.
5. Experience planning strategic Salesforce transformations within large organizations.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Experience in higher education environments.
2. Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud.
3. Salesforce Developer II certification.
4. Experience advising on strategic CRM direction and platform standardization.
5. Ability to guide “what if” scenario planning for long-term architectural evolution.

Terms

This is a 9-month contract role with potential for extension. The position is remote; however, the successful candidate must be available to work in Pacific Time. A reference check will be required prior to any offer of employment.
