A part-time (40-50%) ADST (Foods) Teacher is required by Christian Life School (Peace River North), effective September 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. We welcome applications from both new and experienced teachers. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop in a supportive, low-pressure environment within a vibrant community.

Christian Life School is an accredited independent school with a diverse student body of approximately 130 students from Kindergarten through Junior High. Our focus is on motivating and supporting students to reach their full potential, encouraging them to step outside their comfort zones to achieve academic milestones.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligibility)
• Agreement with our doctrinal statement, purpose, and philosophies related to our Christian faith-based school
• Flexibility to adapt to other course assignments as needed, with a minimum of a minor in a teachable secondary subject recognized by the BC Ministry of Education
• Experience in adapting and modifying curriculum to meet diverse student needs
• Classroom management skills that promote an effective learning environment and uphold student dignity
• Willingness to implement school initiatives and goals in the classroom
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with academic, social, or emotional challenges
• Willingness to participate in professional development and school improvement efforts
