Irving Tissue is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This role involves machine operation, electrical support, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Operate high-speed production and packaging equipment with a team
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on production lines
• Maintain, monitor, and adjust equipment to meet quality standards
• Handle raw materials and support production continuity
• Collaborate with maintenance and logistics teams
• Ensure safety and cleanliness on the production lines
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Relief Electrician

• Support production by minimizing electrical downtime as needed
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment
• Diagnose and repair machinery to maximize uptime
• Act as the on-site electrician during nights and weekends
• Complete electrical work orders promptly
• Participate in training and site projects

Qualifications

• Electrical Certification / College Diploma
• Less than 2 years of electrical experience; PLC knowledge is an asset
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Committed to health and safety standards
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Customer-focused and troubleshooting abilities
