Workplace Arrangements

This role will follow an onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 5 days a week for an 8-4:30 schedule.

What You'll Be Doing

• 60% Sample coordination
• Sample reception for grocery, home and fashion
• Photo documenting samples received
• Communication with various key stakeholders at intervals throughout our processes
• 35% Support studio team by preparing sets, equipment, adjusting lights, naming images in capture 1, tearing down sets.
• Assist stylist with set and prop preparation to meet art instructions.
• Studio operation support to maintain a clean, organized and safe studio environment.
• Support the studio team with ad hoc requests and administrative tasks
• 5% Ad hoc product photography in the event of an unplanned absence or extenuating circumstance
  

What You'll Bring

• Postsecondary bachelor’s degree in Photography or related experience
• 1+ years experience with commercial photography and/or ecomm photography
• Able to take direction, apply feedback and work well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Proven ability to work within tight deadlines, display a sense of urgency
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong work ethic, pro-active, shows initiative, is resourceful
• Strong time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
