Emterra Environmental is in partnership with Adams Heavy Duty who is looking for Loaders to join the Cumberland Curbside Team. The Driver along with you the Loader are a team responsible for ensuring their route is completed on schedule and that waste/recycling is collected, transported, and disposed of in the prescribed manner. This position reports to the Adams Route Supervisor. With an eye to continued growth and steady employment, here are some of the reasons to work for Adams Heavy Duty.

What will you do?

1. Collect curbside materials from residential buildings, businesses, and other facilities
2. Maintain daily records of pick-ups
3. Repetitive tasks including heavy lifting (55lbs/25 kgs)
4. Observe safe work practices
5. Perform duties in all-weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, or snow)
6. Pick up refuse in other areas as required
7. Dispose of curbside collections according to set policies and procedures

What will you bring?

1. Ability to lift up to 50lbs/25kgs
2. Punctual, reliable, team player
3. Safety-minded approach to daily tasks
4. Client service and public interaction skills – written and verbal
5. Ability to read and write to record pickups and maintain daily records

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $18.80/hr starting wage

$19.06/hr plus $2.50/hr additional bonus incentive after 3 months' probation.

$1,000 hire bonus to be paid out after passing probation.

Fully paid benefits after probation.
