Job Summary
We are seeking a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with experience working with elementary and secondary students with autism. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), conducting assessments, and providing support to students and families. An Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification is preferred. You will work one-on-one with students in the Markham area, providing support tailored to each student's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavioural Assessments (FBAs) and develop personalized Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Work with students to implement behavior interventions and strategies to support learning and socialization.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other team members to track progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Support students with autism in developing essential skills and improving behavior in an academic setting.
  • Provide guidance and training to parents and staff as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience working with elementary and secondary students who have autism.
  • Experience with behavior management strategies and individualized learning plans.
  • OCT certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to supporting the growth and development of students.
