Responsibilities

As a Project Director, your role includes:

• Managing major environmental projects across Canada such as site remediation, marine dredging, and water treatment.
• Overseeing contractual aspects including budgets, timelines, and client objectives.
• Ensuring team members understand project scopes both technically and administratively.
• Maintaining compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Leading the development of complex proposals, estimating costs, and identifying optimal solutions.
• Note: This position may require fly-in/fly-out during peak season for remote project sites.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate profile:

• 10+ years of experience in environmental projects, especially site remediation across Canada.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• University degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related fields.
• Strong contract management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and training abilities to inspire teams.
• Proactive with a strong initiative approach.
• Fluent in English and French to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
