Java Full-Stack Developer

Role Description:

We have an immediate need in an experienced full-stack developer, who is strong in Java and Angular, knowledgeable in SQL and relational DBs, and familiar with document-oriented databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

Ideal Candidates:

Ideal candidates will have a proven multi-year, hands-on development experience, with an eye for quality and an emphasis on details, to help our highly skilled agile driven team to develop and maintain the next generation Institutional Lending platform, one of the most critical business lines of the Firm.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to support multiple Lending business lines.
2. Develop and maintain reusable and testable, backend and frontend components.
3. Be an active contributor of an agile squad ceremonies and practices.
4. Understand business requirements and responsibilities.

Required Skills:

1. 10+ years of a proven Java 11+ development experience in Spring-boot, and RESTful micro-services. The ideal candidate has 80% Java, 20% Angular.
2. Solid development experience in Angular web-applications.
3. Strong knowledge in T-SQL relational databases such as Sybase, DB2, or SQL-Server.
4. Knowledgeable in document-oriented databases such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
5. Fluent in English and has experience in client interaction.
6. Great communication skills.

Optional Skills:

1. Understanding in Docker or Kubernetes.
2. Development experience in financial institutions.
3. Experience in modern architecture and software development best-practices.
