We are looking for a permanent, full-time Administrative Assistant and Word Processor for our Kitchener, Ontario office.
Responsibilities
- Reception desk duties for a professional office (including answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating mail, courier deliveries, and office supplies).
- Format, proofread, and assemble technical documents following Trace standards.
- Create PDF documents, insert links and bookmarks using Adobe Acrobat.
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and video conferences, organize materials, and take minutes.
- Manage files for projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
About You and Your Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an office environment; experience in professional services or environmental consulting preferred.
- Post-secondary education or diploma in business administration or related field.
- Membership with the Association of Administrative Assistants is an asset.
- Attention to detail, pride in work, and positive attitude.
- Genuine, trustworthy, and caring demeanor.
- Enjoys work-life balance and being part of a people-focused company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Organized, team-oriented, with excellent proofreading skills.
