As Adamson continues to grow and innovate, we recognize the need for a skilled Copywriter to enhance our marketing efforts, refine our messaging, and ensure consistency across all communication channels. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of marketing expertise, creativity, strategic thinking, and industry knowledge to develop compelling copy for websites, social media, campaigns, and more. By adding this role, we aim to strengthen our brand presence, engage our target audience more effectively, and ultimately drive conversions and loyalty. With a keen ability to adapt tone and messaging across varied platforms and audiences, the Copywriter will help shape the language of our brand while staying current with industry trends and evolving communication standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret creative briefs and collaborate closely with marketing, product, and design teams to develop compelling messaging and campaign concepts.
  • Write clear, engaging, and persuasive content for a wide range of formats including websites, social media, email campaigns, video scripts, product brochures, spec sheets, press releases, product manuals, newsletters, and case studies.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, audience-friendly language without sacrificing accuracy or depth.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent voice and tone across channels and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts, engineers, and leadership to extract key messaging and shape narratives that reflect Adamson’s innovation and industry leadership.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new campaigns, product launches, and storytelling strategies.
  • Support internal communication efforts with engaging copy for presentations, internal campaigns, and team announcements.
  • Continuously optimize content for digital platforms, applying SEO best practices and data insights to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Review and revise content based on stakeholder feedback and performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor positioning, and evolving content strategies to keep Adamson’s voice forward-thinking and relevant.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a solid portfolio of work.
  • Experience working in marketing will be an asset.
  • Exceptional writing and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proofreading experience, detail-oriented and familiarity with standard style guides.
  • Experience with content management systems.
