Job Opportunity: 360 Perm Recruiter - Western Canada

Are you an action-oriented professional recruiter with a high degree of tenacity in achieving results? Do you possess self-confidence, perseverance, dynamic communication skills, and a high sense of urgency? If so, keep reading.

Drake International is seeking a 360 Perm Recruiter to manage a permanent recruitment desk for Western Canada. You should have exceptional verbal, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills, and be responsible for building a strong perm recruitment desk focusing on your specialties.

Accountabilities
  • Report to the Regional Sales Manager – Western Canada.
  • Handle direct hire recruitment.
  • Build and develop a viable permanent recruitment desk within your specialty.
  • Identify staffing requirements, advertise notices, screen applicants, advise on employment terms, review candidate inventories, coordinate interviews, participate in selection boards, notify applicants of results, and prepare job offers.
  • Develop recruitment solutions and competency systems.
  • Conduct market research and management consulting.
  • Manage day-to-day new business development and client relationships.
  • Establish and maintain long-term working relationships.
  • Source and identify qualified senior-level candidates, manage employee data, and develop job descriptions and salary surveys.
  • Track evaluation history, conduct creative sourcing, and perform thorough candidate due diligence.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and manage ongoing engagements.
  • Recommend top talent to clients and ensure client expectations are met through excellent customer service.
  • Manage the recruitment process using existing databases, networking, advertising, and direct recruiting.
  • Adapt recruitment strategies based on changing priorities and client needs.
  • Evaluate candidate skills for viability and support specific client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Western Canada Drake Branch Manager to achieve business growth goals.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • University Degree in Business, Commerce, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to translate market intelligence into tangible results.
  • Proven experience managing challenging projects with successful outcomes.
  • Visionary and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong operational skills and experience.
  • Well-established in the business community with an excellent reputation.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and people management skills.

  • Strong business acumen in sales and client relationship building.
