Permanent Full-Time and Part Time Opportunities available
Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Coordinator, the Life Enrichment Aide will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of Life Enrichment Services. Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and communicating to all residents and families a schedule of recreation and social activities offered during days, evenings, and weekends.
- Providing and assisting with recreation and social activities that include a range of indoor and outdoor recreation, leisure, and outings that benefit all residents and reflect their interests.
- Providing opportunities for resident and family input into the development and scheduling of recreation and social activities.
Qualifications- Have a post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or other related field from a community college or university; or
- Are enrolled in a community college or university in a diploma or degree program in such a field as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss. 79 and Ontario Regulation ss. 73/22 (1).
- Minimum of one year’s experience in Geriatric rehabilitation or Long-Term Care preferred.
- Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education.
- Must be flexible, innovative, and creative.
- Must be computer literate.

Skills- Experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology) setting is an asset.
