Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor will work with a team of unionized skilled trades employees in the efficient coordination, installation, maintenance and repair work of company assets at the Windsor Evaporation Facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervision of direct reports in the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of Company assets
2. Analysis of current processes to maximize uptime of equipment through the efficient and effective use of skilled, unionized employees
3. Ensuring all production team members are adhering to health, safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures
4. Effectively communicating with the Production team to reduce down time
5. Managing daily time and attendance
6. Contributing to the team by accomplishing other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Three or more years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance capacity
2. The successful candidate must have strong leadership, decision making, analytical and interpersonal skills
3. A skilled trade license, and/or engineering background will be considered an asset
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
5. SAP and/or UKG experience would be considered an asset
