THE ROLE: MARKETING EVENTS & ACTIVATIONS SPECIALIST

Reporting to our Senior Brand Manager (with a dotted line to our Director of Marketing), you'll be the mastermind behind the experiences that make our brand come alive! This isn't just any marketing role – it's your chance to create moments that customers remember long after they've left our showrooms.

WHAT YOU'LL ORCHESTRATE:

Create the buzz! Design and execute showstopping activation campaigns that get people talking – from immersive in-store events to contests that generate excitement, interactive product demonstrations that wow customers, and sponsorships that put our brand on center stage.

Set the stage! Collaborate with our Builder and Designer Sales divisions to create marketing materials that transform ordinary events into extraordinary brand experiences.

Amplify our voice! Take our message to the airwaves by coordinating campaigns across TV and radio that’ll make everyone want to visit our showrooms.

Build your dream team! Develop relationships with the coolest vendors, most creative suppliers, and strategic partners who will help bring your wildest ideas to life.

Make magic happen! Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every activation runs seamlessly from concept to execution.

Transform spaces! Partner other members of the Marketing team to create digital & in-store materials that stop shoppers in their tracks.

Prove it works! Track performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights that make each campaign better than the last.

Manage the treasure chest! Keep portfolio budgets on track, manage invoices like a pro, and ensure we're investing our resources in experiences that deliver real results.

THE SUPERPOWERS YOU'LL BRING:

Experience that counts: 3+ years of creating marketing magic through activations, PR initiatives, or event planning that had people talking (and a post-secondary degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, or Communications).

Partnership prowess: You understand that great partnerships can elevate experiences, and you know how to build relationships that benefit everyone involved.

Project management wizardry: You can juggle multiple balls without dropping any – deadlines, details, and deliverables are all in your wheelhouse.

Communication charisma: Whether you're writing compelling copy or pitching ideas to stakeholders, your communication skills make people sit up and take notice.

Data detective skills: You know how to dig into performance metrics and use what you find to make campaigns even more effective.

Work Environment

- Dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced. No two days will be the same – exactly how you like it!

- Occasional evening and weekend work is required.

- Must have access to a vehicle as travel to showrooms, events and on-site activations as required.

- Occasional travel within BC to support Vancouver Island and Kelowna showrooms.

- Hybrid work environment based on business need (head office, showroom locations and home).
