Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate across functions in business valuations and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). Responsibilities include financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and providing insights to support strategic initiatives. The role also involves working on projects for internal stakeholders and collaborating with the financial reporting group.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and reviewing BEP’s private fund asset valuations, including DCF models, market research, and presentation materials.
• Support BEP’s business planning by maintaining and updating the corporate model for strategic decision-making.
• Review and challenge business plans and valuation models prepared by regional platforms.
• Analyze historical results, perform variance analyses, and identify key business drivers for growth and benchmarking.
• Conduct discounted cash flow sensitivity analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Support quarterly and year-end financial reporting of key metrics for management and forecasting.
• Assist with ad hoc analyses for stakeholders, including investors and senior management.
• Collaborate with other Brookfield groups to improve processes, increase efficiency, and drive productivity.

Qualifications:

• Recognized professional designation (CPA, CFA, CBV, etc.).

• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting concepts (IFRS, GAAP) and analysis principles.
• Interest in investments demonstrated through work or personal experience.
• Advanced MS Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience in financial planning & analysis, valuations, due diligence, or financial modeling roles is a plus.
• Experience with Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, OneStream, or other finance systems is advantageous.
