The Program Manager is responsible for the supervision and direction of a program, including providing clinical supervision and rehabilitative direction to a team of Direct Care Counselors and clients. The Program Manager will also perform all essential functions of a Direct Care Counselor.

Minimum Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all program staff; conduct staff meetings, schedule shifts, and ensure staff is up-to-date on all trainings. Develop, train, and foster the growth of Direct Care professionals.
  • Ensure that timely, efficient, and appropriate services are provided to clients.
  • Participate in the Individual Action Plans (IAP) process for clients.
  • Monitor the upkeep of the program site. Ensure the program meets safety standards and a home-like environment is maintained.
  • Assist in budgeting for the program and assist clients with their expenses.
  • Prepare reports as directed, including data collection and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Master’s Degree in a related field and current state of MA licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (LADC I), or Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle, and be willing to use it to transport clients.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to write comprehensive notes.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
