This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the position of Experiential Education Coordinator, reporting to the Associate Director, Experiential Education. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with community partners, sourcing experiential education opportunities, supporting planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of experiential education activities, and promoting the department’s goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating across departments to achieve strategic goals;
  • Engaging with community partners and faculty to develop EE opportunities;
  • Representing Brock at community events and building partnerships;
  • Managing a database of EE opportunities;
  • Assisting in planning and assessment of experiential education activities;
  • Ensuring compliance with policies related to student placements and internships;
  • Supporting campus-wide EE initiatives and communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  • Relevant experience in experiential education, relationship management, or related areas;
  • Knowledge of experiential learning theories and pedagogy;
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.

Preferred Assets:

  • Degree from the Faculty of Social Sciences (asset);
  • Understanding of university governance and policies (asset).

Salary and Benefits:

  • Job Grade L, Salary Range: $66,817-$108,353;
  • Target Hiring Range: $66,817-$68,000;
  • Includes health & dental benefits, pension, vacation, and flexible work options.
