Join Our Team as a Senior Electrical Engineering Designer

H.H. Angus & Associates Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Designer to join our Ottawa-based team. Our firm is renowned for delivering diverse projects, including mission-critical work for major institutions and government agencies.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Delivering technical designs for complex projects involving multiple trades.
2. Creating conceptual designs and independently assessing constructability.
3. Developing standards and reports, with the ability to sign off on them.
4. Participating in project planning and management meetings, providing improvement suggestions.
5. Ensuring technical accuracy and accountability from design through to construction completion.
6. Solving complex problems independently.
7. Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering consulting experience.
• Experience with Mission Critical projects is an asset.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Innovative, eager to learn, and forward-thinking.
• Strong documentation and accuracy skills.
• Effective collaborator within multidisciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and the built environment.
