What you will do

The Fire Sprinkler Installation Manager is part of our Building Technologies & Solutions business at Johnson Controls. You will manage daily operations of branch construction installation projects with local customers, contributing to our successful branch.

How you will do it

• Manage daily functions including overseeing teams, operations, forecasting, and business growth
• Coordinate with sales to analyze customer requirements and ensure contractual obligations are met, providing the best application of our solutions
• Ensure high-quality delivery at minimal cost, operating within approved financial plans
• Support activities such as submittals, engineering, CAD operations, scheduling, and business compliance
• Manage installation processes, including material procurement, project scheduling, and subcontractor management in accordance with company policies
• Support technical installation activities, including programming and system operations per customer specifications and codes
• Set performance goals, motivate employees, and review performance regularly
• Support sales efforts to serve customers better and increase sales volume
• Handle personnel actions such as hiring, transferring, and training; promote a positive work environment
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, conduct safety training, and address hazards promptly

What we look for

Required

• Minimum 5 years of project management leadership experience
• Management skills including training, team building, presentation, negotiation, and branch administration
• Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Microsoft Office

Preferred

• Experience in sprinkler systems or related trades
