Description

Aston Carter's client in Surrey is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. The Supply Chain and Warehouse Coordinator is an individual contributor responsible for managing inventory, procurement, shipping, warehouse, and facilities operations. This role ensures we always have products and components on hand to manufacture and fulfill customer orders. They also receive and distribute inventory, maintain an organized warehouse, and

conduct regular cycle counts. They also coordinate facilities projects with outside contractors to ensure sustained operations.

TOP 5 REPEATABLE DUTIES

- Checking inventory levels to meet demand forecast

- Supply materials to production as needed

- Proactively issuing POs to maintain material levels

- Communicating with carriers to track packages, resolve issues as required

- Ensuring shipping documentation (Material Safety Data Sheets, Bills of Lading, packing slips, etc) are all accurate to ensure smooth flow of shipments)

Supply Chain Responsibilities:

• Procure raw materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods, and necessary supplies for

production.

• Work with suppliers to request quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage supply agreements.

• Monitor demand trends to maintain adequate inventory levels.

• Analyze supply chain issues and implement procurement, warehouse, and inventory

solutions.

• Maintain supplier records and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.

• Prepare reports on cost analyses, purchasing trends, and production needs.

• Managing inventory and generate purchase orders through Material Requirements Planning

(MRP) in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Epicor.

• Support cross-functional teams to resolve non-conforming material issues.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments.

• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accessibility and accurate stock

levels.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Assist in loading/unloading shipments as necessary.

• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety protocols and company policies.

• Distribute inventory to workstations on a regular basis.

Facilities Management Responsibilities:

• Identify local contractors (cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, etc.), negotiate contracts, and

maintain relationships.

• Coordinate facilities projects with outside contractors as needed.

MUST HAVE:

- 5+ years of work experience in supply chain management

- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

----> Excel PivotTable experience a MUST

- ERP experience (Epicor preferred)

- Ability to lift materials up to 45lbs as needed

NICE TO HAVE:

- Epicor ERP experience

- Ocean freight experience

- US customs portals experience (for southbound US shipments)

- Familiarity with implementing material efficiency plans/programs (Bill of Materials)

----> rewriting the way they do Bills of Materials to reduce adjustments/steps

Shift? M-F, 6:30am - 3pm or 7:30-4pm.

- PT to start, 20 hours per week. Can work 3 days per week up to 20h OR 5 days per week @ 4h shifts.

- May move to FT pending production demand in the coming months.

WFH? 5 days on site, in office/warehouse depending on duties being executed.

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $26.44/hr.
