Overview

Qualifications

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position:

  1. Completion of high school or its equivalent. Must have supplemental formal training and/or on-the-job training approved by hospital.
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology.
  3. Basic knowledge of computers; keyboard skills 30 wpm.

Demonstrates clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Able to perform several tasks in an organized manner. Processes information quickly and accurately. Maintains competency appropriate to the services provided and needs of age groups served.
