General Motors in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a SIE to develop cosimulation components and create virtual controller models for validation of propulsion thermal management systems. You will integrate plant and ECU models into dynamic simulations and maintain thorough release documentation.
The role requires Embedded C and Python expertise, MATLAB/Simulink familiarity, and automotive bus experience (CAN/LIN). Hybrid work arrangement with office visits three times weekly.

This role is part of a group responsible for creating virtual in-the-loop environments to enable development, verification and validation of embedded controllers and calibrations for the Propulsion Thermal Management System domain. The Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) Simulation Integration Engineers (SIE) are ultimately responsible to deliver a quality simulation environment on time to meet the customers’ requirements. This position requires an individual with a passion for modeling, an adept knowledge of system simulation and integration, and demonstrated capability for managing a wide variety of technical and customer needs.

This opening is hybrid, the successful candidate is expected to report to the office - Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) three times per week, at minimum.
The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $164,600. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
