About the OpportunityThe Nooaitch Indian Band is seeking afull-time Economic Development Managerwho can either be based in ourMerritt, BCoffice or work in ahybridcapacity, with a minimum of two weeks per month on-site.
This role, reporting directly to the Band Administrator, is pivotal in initiating and leading economic development to foster community wellness and manage resources efficiently.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To qualify, you will need aBachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Proven years of experience in business development or economic development, preferably with a focus on First Nations communities in BC, will also be essential. A driver's license and reliable vehicle is required.
