Job description

What you’ll do

Reporting to the eCommerce lead at FGL Sports, this individual will be responsible for the online display and maintenance of merchandise and content, driving online sales for their category. Ensuring the accuracy of sellable content online will be integral to success in this role, as will cross-functional collaboration with other teams.

  1. Ensure that the catalog of online products is up-to-date and that the product mix is appropriate for promotions, campaigns and marketing offensives.
  2. Create cross-selling or complementary sales opportunities.
  3. Build regular reports to assess the performance and relevance of merchandising operations and present them to the manager.
  4. Using analytics to identify opportunities for improvement in merchandising efficiency and collaborating on optimization activities within your retail stream.
  5. Focus on ensuring products are properly placed, represented, tracked and analyzed.
  6. Show the top sellers.
  7. Contribute to the planning process and work collaboratively with the marketing team to build and execute marketing campaigns, programs and initiatives.
  8. Participate in marketing-related special projects and new initiatives.

What you bring

  1. Minimum 3-5 years work experience in eCommerce, merchandising, web retail, marketing, or related field.
  2. Bachelor degree in fashion / marketing / merchandising or related field.
  3. Background in retail, or product-related areas.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Experience with content management systems and technology solutions.
  6. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with working knowledge of internet technologies.
  7. A history of innovation, creativity and delivering results.
  8. Team player.
  9. Enjoys sports.
