Job description

Background & Purpose of the Job

eRetailers play an increasing role in the consumer decision journey and serve as key consumer touchpoints for brands to have the 1-to-1 conversation, inspire them about products, and delight them with experiences. The business model of eRetailers has evolved to behave more as a self-service interface to display our product offers with rich content solutions and manage traffic via advanced digital marketing solutions. To address these new challenges, we need to reinforce eCommerce teams; structure them to design and operate activation plans across eRetail platforms (Pure Players, Marketplaces, Bricks and Clicks, and Direct To Consumer) that combine media and sales efficiency seamlessly.

This role is based in Scarborough, ON and is hybrid.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do
  • Develop GSEB online sales by optimizing sales conversion, trade-up, and In-House Share (IHS) for each Bricks & Clicks account.
  • Lead the development and execution of performance marketing campaigns on e-retailers (Walmart, Costco), including display, PPC, paid social, SEO, and affiliate marketing.
  • Maximize ROI of the retail activation budget.
Driving visibility for Groupe SEB Brands

For each account, develop a detailed understanding of:

  • Online shopping behavior (search, taxonomy, traffic sources)
  • Levers required to drive visibility
  • Most relevant content for sales conversion

Set up and implement action plans to ensure online visibility on retailer platforms and other online touchpoints, with proper reporting. Collaborate with:

  • KAM to align with account objectives and tactical topics, ensuring cohesiveness between offline and online strategies.
  • E-retail Content Manager to align with content & innovation strategies.
  • Retailers’ Performance marketing teams for negotiations and joint plans.
Monitoring and Improving KPIs
  • Track IHS and online POS sales weight, campaign ROI, and utilize review and content syndication tools.
  • Create transparent goal-setting processes and foster data-based decision-making.
  • Share eCommerce industry best practices.
Budget Management
  • Manage budgets > $0.5m, negotiate deals with Trade Marketing/Ecommerce teams, and collaborate with external agencies for ATL/Coop investments.
  • Brief agencies and manage Retail Media Sponsored Search campaigns (e.g., Mabaya, Amazon).
Qualifications

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Soft skills: team collaboration, autonomy, agility, English proficiency, influence at C-level, negotiation skills.
  • Hard skills: >3 years in marketing/sales, experience in digital marketing, retail trade marketing, shopper marketing, key account management, or buying; data-driven with experience in eCommerce activation plans.
