Job summary

SLR Consulting (Canada) seeks a Project Coordinator, Ecology & Biodiversity, to support multidisciplinary environmental projects in Vancouver. The role focuses on research, field work, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory deliverables.

You will assist with onboarding, budgeting, and logistics while liaising with TWN and project teams to address environmental concerns. This is a full-time opportunity based in Vancouver with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in environmental sciences, natural resources, or related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience coordinating environmental projects.
• Understanding of environmental permitting and regulatory processes for major infrastructure projects.
• BIT designation eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental and ecological research and desktop analysis to support regulatory and project requirements.
• Conduct environmental auditing field work in remote settings, including night shifts.
• Develop relationships with Indigenous Nations and coordinate logistics.
• Assist with onboarding of new field staff.
• Support budget tracking, invoicing, and project administration.
• Provide logistical support for field programs including travel coordination and subcontractor management.
• Support development and administration of environmental programs and monitoring.
• Prepare and review environmental reports, management plans, permits, and regulatory deliverables.
• Provide regulatory consultation to clients and project teams.
• Coordinate and track regulatory permits under federal and provincial law.
• Monitor and communicate environmental findings among stakeholders.
• Contribute to our One Team culture and Health & Safety leadership.
