Base pay range

30.00 / hr - $33.50 / hr

Duration : 26-week contract

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 00)

Weekly Pay : $2,999

Requirements : Certification required, CCI or RDCS- Adult, 4 years of recent experience, Level 1 trauma experience, preferred skills include left-handed scanning, transplant hospital experience, academic background.

Adult Cardiac Sonographer needed at this traveler-friendly facility in Richmond, VA. The facility specializes in advanced cardiovascular treatments including heart transplants, structural heart procedures, and imaging for devices like TAVR, LVAD, Impella, and balloon pumps. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient imaging, bedside and stress echo, TEE, OR procedures, and competency in complex echo pathologies. Experience with contrast protocols and agents like Lumify and Definity is preferred.

Biweekly orientation is provided, with planning 4-5 weeks in advance. Productivity expectations are 6-8 studies per 8-hour day or 8-9 studies per 10-hour day. Shifts vary between 8 and 10 hours, with some on-call requirements. Assignments are at the main campus and Stony Point location, both in Richmond.
