Engineer Support (Part-time)

Location: 3833 Airport Rd, Denton, TX 76207

Shift: Part-time, MON TUE WED THU FRI, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Hours: Up to 28 hours/week

Overview

As a Part-time Engineer Support, you will assist the engineering team in communications with branches and customers. Responsibilities include lab testing, print reviews, standards reviews, developing engineering resources, customer projects for cost savings, and other technical functions. The role may offer flexible scheduling after onboarding, training, and performance goal achievement.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to branches and customers
• Review customer prints and standards
• Support lab testing for standard and customer-specific tests
• Create technical resources, articles, and calculators for technical teams and customers
• Support projects by identifying cost savings and consolidation opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in the job location country, with the ability to meet driving record requirements for using a company vehicle
• Currently pursuing or possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or have relevant industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency
• Organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 75 lbs
• Pass the required drug screening (US, Puerto Rico, Guam only)
