Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products, is seeking an experienced Decking and Railing and Outdoor Structures Outside Sales Associate (DROSA)! Candidates must reside in or near Montreal, QB, Quebec City, QB, or Toronto, ON.
The Decking and Railing Outside Sales Associate is responsible for growing profitable sales of Decking, Railing, and Outdoor Structures (DR&OS) within their territory. The role focuses on increasing sales through face-to-face calls on current customers and prospecting for new business. Internally, the DROSA will collaborate with inside and outside sales teams and managers to lead, educate, and support growth in DR&OS sales as a dedicated salesforce multiplier.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-the-job training with coworkers, providing value through customer service
- Build long-lasting business relationships and sell products
- Utilize our internal STEPS training program to create value for internal and external customers
- Become a STEPS program expert, leading and training inside sales teams
- Ensure teammates are aware of all sales tools and resources
- Facilitate sales or hand off opportunities to other salespeople when selling non-decking, railing, and outdoor structures like fencing
Accountabilities:
- Lead sales and margin achievement for decking, railing, and outdoor structures in your branch
- Expand and diversify the customer base
- Launch and grow product offerings to be a comprehensive source for customers
- Develop and execute measurable short- and long-term sales plans, including market analysis and strategy development
- Make face-to-face sales calls with a customer-focused approach, employing principles of the STEPS program
- Provide hands-on product knowledge and value proposition training for associates and customers
- Support sales and provide product expertise to customers and internal teams
- Develop relationships with internal and external resources, including manufacturers and distributors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent face-to-face sales, training, and presentation skills for various group sizes
- Results-driven and motivated
- Support sales teams in new product expansion to meet targets
- Ability to work with all organizational levels
- Experience selling into building materials, home centers, or hardware stores preferred
- Experience in decking, railing, outdoor structures, fencing, or building materials preferred
- Ability to travel overnight as needed
- Proficient with internet, sales/presentation software, Excel, and Word
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory
