About The Role

Bosa Construction is looking to award 4 high school students the opportunity to pursue their Carpentry Apprenticeship while working under the guaranteed sponsorship of [insert sponsor name].

FULL program tuition will be covered for all levels of Apprenticeship as well as Red Seal Certification upon completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • As an Apprentice Carpenter, your role is to construct frames/structures for casting concrete during construction. You will measure, cut, and shape wood materials using tools and perform work related to forming, scaffolding, shoring, and rough carpentry. The most important responsibility is to anticipate issues related to quality, safety, and deadlines and proactively communicate them to the Journeyman Carpenters and Site Foreman.

  • Official application opens March 1st, 2024, and closes May 1st, 2024. Only one application per person.
Applicant Requirements
  • Must be a current Grade 12 student residing in the Greater Vancouver area (Metro Vancouver).
  • Must be a registered Carpenter Apprentice or Youth Apprentice (register via [insert registration link]).
  • Must have a BCIT ID number (register if you do not have one already).
  • Must submit a Resume for review.
  • Must complete all required questions in the application.
  • Must submit the completed application within the official window.
Review Process
  • Applications will be reviewed during the first two weeks of May 2024.
  • Short-listed applicants will be contacted for an in-person interview.
  • Applicants will be chosen and confirmed by May 31st, 2024.
