Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a four-year education-related degree and have two years of relevant ECE experience, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in education or related field.
• Two years’ recent experience in Early Learning and Childcare Education as an ECE Instructor or teacher.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and facilitate interactive practical experiences for students in the Early Childhood Education diploma program.
• Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using blended learning approaches.
• Provide evaluation, assessment, and feedback on the Brightspace platform.
• Plan and deliver content and activities reflecting diverse community values.
• Manage the classroom to ensure an optimal learning environment.
• Maintain and update curriculum materials.
• Work cooperatively in an interdependent team environment.
• Engage in professional development to remain current with requirements.
• Develop external partnerships and arrange student placements as needed.
• Attend program and school meetings and follow Saskatchewan Polytechnic policies.
