Hours of Work : Casual / On-Call, flexible hours

Compensation : $21.43 per hour. Plus, the government approved wage enhancement.

Program & Location : Early Care & Learning Centres – Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey, B.C.

Union : BC Government Employee’s Union (BCGEU) - This position requires union membership

We are committed to hiring women who reflect the women who access our services and the communities in which we work. As such, significant consideration will be given to women who meet the qualifications and who are First Nations Métis and Inuk and or who speak Punjabi, Mandarin, Tagalog, Hindi or Korean, in addition to English. Additional Requisites / Assets

A BC Early Childhood Educator license to practice is required

Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with complex needs is an asset

A valid child-oriented First Aid Certificate is required

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position

Covid-19 (including booster) and annual flu vaccinations are recommended

Legal authorization to work in Canada

All positions are subject to a Criminal Records Review (Paid by Atira)
