What You Can Expect to Do
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, engineers, planners, designers, and contract administrators.
- Implement and execute project control plans for large P3 and Design-Build projects exceeding $5M.
- Support baseline budgets and work breakdown structures to manage hours and expenditures.
- Maintain accurate project reporting on planned value, actual costs, earned value, and schedule.
- Mentor junior and intermediate team members.
- Assess impacts of changes to baselines, estimates, and forecasted project performance.
- Identify, notify, and resolve deviations from the plan, considering potential future impacts.
- Develop strategies to realign project performance and meet or exceed KPIs.
- Understand project evolution to prevent unforeseen cost and schedule impacts.
- Measure progress effectively based on project size and complexity.
- Manage project financial health, including variance reporting.
- Participate in meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Assist in preparing project and management reports.
- Develop project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, cost, quality, and change management plans.
What You’ll Bring to WSP
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in project management, finance, or business preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the engineering industry is an asset.
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadlines, ambiguity, and change.
