Operating from across Canada at three Main Operating Bases, Gander NL, Greenwood, NS, and Comox, BC and headquartered in the Cormorant Support Centre in Halifax, NS, the program provides comprehensive, turnkey In-Service Support to Canada’s Cormorant helicopters. This unique program provides the RCAF with a full suite of all levels of support to this critical 24 / 7 / 365 mission.
Position Overview :
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer performs first and second line aircraft maintenance on the Cormorant Helicopter in support of our Canadian Search and Rescue operations. Duties include servicing, inspection, removal, cleaning, repair, installation, adjustment, flight testing and certification (release) of aircraft mechanical, structural and electrical systems and components and ground support equipment.
