General Manager – Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented General Manager to oversee daily operations at a thriving quick-service restaurant. This role is critical in ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and team development. Ideal candidates will bring a passion for the restaurant industry, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of achieving business goals.

Salary and Benefits:
  • Base Compensation Range: $50K - $56K.
  • Additional Bonus Potential.

Core Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, promoting seamless and efficient service execution.
  • Maintain a hands-on leadership approach by dedicating 85% of the time to operational oversight.

Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members to build a highly capable and motivated staff.
  • Foster a positive and supportive team culture, driving engagement and alignment with organizational values.
  • Monitor team performance, implement development initiatives, and provide constructive coaching.

Customer Focus:
  • Deliver an outstanding guest experience by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues professionally, and enhancing satisfaction.
  • Utilize guest feedback to identify areas for service improvement and implement targeted changes.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Enforce adherence to food safety and health regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness, order accuracy, and consistency in product quality.

Financial Oversight:
  • Manage budgets and analyze financial metrics to ensure profitability and cost control.
  • Drive revenue growth through creative marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor labor costs, sales performance, and other key indicators to optimize financial health.

Qualifications:
Required Experience and Skills:
  • 1-3 years in a leadership role within the quick service or restaurant industry, preferably as a General Manager.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and resolve conflicts.
  • Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and workflow management.
  • Proven ability to manage and achieve financial targets using an analytical approach.
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and perform under pressure, balancing multiple priorities efficiently.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
