Base pay range

CA$40.00/hr - CA$40.00/hr

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB (Fort Hills) is looking for Class 3 Pressure/ High Pressure Operators to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for operating and driving the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client.

This is a Union Local 362 Teamsters position with wages of $40.85/hour

Qualified candidates will be required to 14/14 rotation that includes day and night shifts.

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Drives, operates and stages units.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections.
  • Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment.
  • Maintains and updates driver’s logbook.
  • Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
  • Performs roadside repairs as required.
  • 5+ years operating pressure & high pressure units required;
  • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged.
  • Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience.
  • Experience with a Hose Reel/Sewer Flusher would be an asset.
  • Experience with tube cleaning/ tank stinging an asset
  • HEO ticket an asset;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
  • Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
