Job Summary: The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing issues faced by trees and shrubs. They are our team of "detectives," viewing each plant disease or infestation as a puzzle to solve. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and visit beautiful properties in your community.

Compensation and Benefits: This position pays up to $32 an hour based on experience. We also offer PTO, full benefits, and a 401(k).

Job Description

Are you looking for a place where you can thrive? The Plant Health Care Team focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of trees and shrubs within a designated territory. Responsibilities include monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest and disease infestations, selecting appropriate treatments, interacting with clients, and providing written diagnostic reports to ensure customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For
  • A desire to grow, opportunity-driven, loves problem-solving and process improvement
  • A Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or similar experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with responsibility and autonomy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A willingness to learn: tree/plant identification, safe use of spray and application equipment
Essential Requirements
  • Willingness to complete required training for certifications and licenses
  • Desire to work outdoors
  • Valid driver’s license for operating service vehicles
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Physical Demands
