Position: Secondary LTO - 100% Grade 10 Academic Math; Grade 11 Mixed Math

Minimum Requirements
  1. Candidates must be members in good standing or in the process of becoming Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualified prior to the start date.
  2. External candidates must provide at least three professional, supervisory teaching references, including full name, position, work location, and email, during the online application process. References are not contacted before practicum or interview.
  3. Internal candidates should include all previous teaching experiences and two references, one of which must be a YRDSB administrator.
  4. A satisfactory police record check, including a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC), must be completed within six months prior to the start date. Candidates are responsible for submitting the results as instructed.
References

Referees may include:

  • Principal/Vice-Principal
  • Faculty Advisor/Coordinator or Practicum Supervisor
  • Host/Mentor Teacher
  • Other professional references
