Athabasca University's Faculty of Business seeks a temporary part-time Academic Advisor. This role involves supporting graduate program recruitment, advising, and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will have a post-secondary degree and experience in customer service and digital communications. The position offers relocation assistance and various employee benefits.
Athabasca University (AU) is a unique, research-intensive, publicly funded institution in Alberta. The Faculty of Business is a major AACSB-accredited business school in Canada, offering undergraduate to doctoral programs. It is committed to supporting students, the business community, and society through innovative and accessible education.
The Academic Advisor is an integral member of the Faculty of Business, providing front-line support for graduate program recruitment, enrollment, advising, and acting as a co-contact for AU's University Relations IMC team. Responsibilities include administrative support, logistics for faculty events, and being the first point of contact for staff, students, and visitors via various communication channels.
Note: A combination of education and experience may be considered.
