We are currently seeking to add a Construction Services Department Manager to our dynamic team in Vancouver, Washington.

• Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 annually
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package (see below)
• Work Flexibility: Options for both remote and hybrid schedules

This role will develop strategies to grow our market share of ODOT and Portland Metro construction management work, oversee our current construction management team, and coordinate with PBS staff across multiple offices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction management/inspection
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Ability to legally work in the United States
• Valid driver's license

Desirable Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Construction Management experience on Local Agency projects
• ODOT Inspection Certifications
• Experience managing construction for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with federal funding requirements for infrastructure construction projects.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as main point of contact for clients and contractors during construction
• Assume responsibility for overseeing and documenting construction quality
• Lead teams to manage construction management, submittal review, and document control for transportation and utility infrastructure projects
• Provide quality control and constructability reviews during project design process
• Monitor and process submittals
• Manage project budgets and schedules
• Record data and review entries made by others
• Prepare interim and permanent final project records
• Identify and manage construction risks
• Negotiate and prepare change orders
• Document that materials are properly tested and approved
• Manage and grow a vibrant construction management team
