- Performs bench testing of customer feed water.
- Manages logistics of pickup/shipping/delivery of customer bench test sample water.
- Performs lab testing of customer sample water and analyzes results.
- Assists R&D manager in the development, sampling, testing, analysis, and implementation of new patentable water treatment technology.
- Assists in process design and equipment sizing for Swirltex wastewater treatment systems.
- Supports engineering design to size/select individual components that support overall system design, such as piping systems, chemical feed systems, and process-specific treatment systems.
- Collects background data on water/wastewater infrastructure and community requirements.
- Coordinates with the drafting team to develop detailed design drawings.
- Supports development of front-end contract specifications for procurement.
- Assists with construction management activities, such as reviewing budgets, schedules, shop drawings, requests for information, contractor progress claims, material performance test reports, etc.
- Updates and contributes to project deliverable requirements.
- Creates training materials and trains customers and operators on Swirltex technology.
- Participates in installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
- Actively communicates and engages stakeholders.
- Assists with the commissioning of water/wastewater infrastructure.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Civil-Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Registered with APEGA and in good standing.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a technical role in the wastewater treatment industry.
- Experience in key technology areas: ultrafiltration, DAF, settling clarifiers, biological treatment, wastewater nutrient removal (ammonia, nitrates, phosphorus), metals removal.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, trades, programmers, and technical professionals.

- Travel: Up to 20%
