Position: Truss Designer

Location: Candidates must be located in the United States

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Design metal plate-connected wood trusses utilizing Mitek software.
2. Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy.
3. Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting.
4. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Truss Design.
• Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software is required.
• Knowledge of floor and roof systems and the ability to specify beams and hangers.
