Position Description

A full-time Physical Education teacher for grades K-9 is required by Christian Life School (Peace River North) for the 2025-2026 school term. We welcome applications from both new and experienced teachers. This is an exciting opportunity for professional growth in a supportive, low-pressure environment within a vibrant community.

Christian Life School (CLS) is an accredited independent school with a diverse student body of approximately 130 students from Kindergarten through Junior High. Our staff are dedicated to motivating and supporting students to reach their full potential, encouraging them to step outside their comfort zones to achieve new milestones and academic success.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Alignment with our doctrinal statement, purpose, and philosophies related to our Christian faith-based education and policies
• Flexibility to adapt to various course assignments as required, with a minimum of a minor in a teachable secondary subject recognized by the BC Ministry of Education
• Experience in curriculum adaptation and modification to meet diverse student needs
• Strong classroom management skills that promote an effective learning environment and uphold student dignity
• Willingness to implement and support school initiatives and goals within the classroom
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with academic, social, or emotional challenges
• Willingness to participate in a collaborative team environment focused on school improvement and professional development
